Katie Harrison

Tour Team Leader

Originally from Manchester, UK (yes, a Manchester City fan!), I arrived in New Zealand in December 2018 to visit friends and family and quickly fell in love with the country. What was meant to be a short stay turned into something more permanent, and I’m now proud to call New Zealand home.

I’ve travelled extensively throughout both the North and South Islands, from Cape Reinga to the very bottom of the South, completing numerous road trips along the way. After time in Upper Hutt, I now live in Featherston and enjoy exploring the Wairarapa region.

With a 20-year background in customer service across the UK and New Zealand, people and positive experiences have always been at the heart of my work. I also volunteer as a digital creator supporting seniors in Featherston and Masterton, and I’m a qualified Mammal Medic, assisting with whale and dolphin rescues when needed.

In my spare time, I enjoy tramping, off-roading, campervan adventures, and life with Bell, an affectionate bullmastiff. I’m excited and honoured to be part of the Tranzit team as a Tour Team Leader.

"This tour ticked all the boxes for me. Particularly the road from Cromwell to Dunedin which I had not traveled before." Betty
