Cirque du Soleil rediscovers its origins with the company’s first Big Top show since Totem in 2014.

A return to the intimate and fundamental human elements of circus, KOOZA combines thrilling acrobatic performance with the art of clowning. We follow The Innocent as he takes a journey of self-discovery through a comic kingdom of eccentric characters, electrifying thrills and out-of-the-box surprises.

Presented in a colorful mélange, KOOZA springs open like a bejeweled toy box to capture the audience’s imagination and set their pulse racing. Sheer human effort - performance in its rawest, purest form - is showcased in all its splendor and fragility.

The international cast of 50 acrobats, musicians, singers and actors present heart-stopping feats and laugh-out-loud antics to a live soundtrack fusion of jazz, funk and Bollywood beats.

Day 1

Saturday 16 February - Travelling to Hamilton

With transfers arranged from Wellington, Kapiti, Wairarapa and other surrounding areas this morning we meet at a centrally located cafe for morning tea (inclusive), before we begin our journey through to Hamilton.

Stopping for lunch at Taihape (own cost), we travel the Desert Road route, allowing for a further short break in Taupo. There will be time upon arrival at our accommodation this evening to relax and freshen up before dining in together at the hotel restaurant, after which the evening is ours to spend at our leisure.

Day 2

Sunday 17 February - Auckland Sightseeing & Show

We motor through to Auckland this morning where we have time for a bit of retail therapy or sightseeing and a stop for lunch (own cost), before departing for the 1.30pm matinee performance of “Cirque Du Soleil - Kooza” at Alexandra Park.

Presented in the elegant splendour of Ciqure's blue and yellow striped Grand Chapiteau (Big Top), this show promises to be a wonderful and unforgettable experience. After the show we journey back to Hamilton where there should be time for a quiet drink in the bar followed by dinner at our hotel.

Day 3

Monday 18 February - Travelling Home

Travelling homeward today, we break up our journey with refreshment stops along the way, as we travel to Sanson in time to meet connecting transfers for those travellers continuing on to Wellington and Wairarapa.
